For a Cable TV Operator moving into mainstream telecommunications in the Netherlands - built a multi-purpose business process model covering all the core, support and managerial activities required to deliver telecommunications services. The model, captured on specialist software, provided a focus for business structure and development, reducing on-going expenses and avoiding potentially costly errors.

For an international conglomerate - Produced a comprehensive manual detailing 16 core telecommunications customer-facing and network-facing business processes. This model was a foundation for business organisation, project planning, operational procedures, job descriptions, and software evaluation in a number of national franchise start-ups across Europe.

With Cogent Consulting

For a well-established world-wide telecommunications operator - Identified improvements to processes for monitoring network performance, handling customer complaints, and resolving problems identified via either source.

For a recently established UK telecommunications operator - reviewed business strategy development, network planning, and procurement processes. Ran workshops to develop significantly improved processes. Documented the outcome using specialist software.

With IBM

For a well-established UK-based international telecommunications operator - within a 10-day window identified and agreed with the client a functional area to address, designed a new business process model, ran a workshop at which the client's subject matter experts refined and agreed the process, and completed detailed documentation.

For a well-established Netherlands-based international telecommunications operator -Spotlight generated concerted action and sustained progress on a major project involving two software vendors and IBM as systems integrator. Advised the IBM team on business process analysis and development.

With Equador Consulting

For a major start-up telecommunications operation in Berlin (based on innovative radio technology) - produced all core business processes, ran workshops with the client's subject matter experts to agree/refine them, and contributed business process expertise to the evaluation of a range of systems applications.
